Whoever recommended crib side carring

ILOVE YOU!!!! We started it about 2 weeks ago, and LO falls asleep ON HIS OWN with me lying on the bed and sometimes without me there!! He literally started it on the first night!!! I used to nurse to sleep. Right away he stopped that - now he nurses and then rolls over and goes to slep! It's adorable. I am feeling comfort in that he doesn't need to nurse to fall asleep. Prior to this that was all that we could do to get him to sleep at bedtime. He is sleeping longer stretches of about 4 hourse a couple times a week. I am just so encouraged that he fell asleep in his crib without crying!! So glad i followed my instinct and didn't cave to those pushing CIO.

I am jealous!! I absolutely LOVE co-sleeping and DD and I get more sleep.. however my DH (who has been extremely supportive this whole time) wants to sleep in his bed again so I have been trying to get her to sleep in her crib more WITHOUT CIO... This gives me hope that it can happen!

Admico, it can!! That was our reason for side carring too...DH couldn't really sleep in bed with us!
