Judge my girl names please!

Here are the names we're kicking around. Mae is a family name so it's not moving from the MN spot, but the FN is wide open. FN suggestions are welcom, too!

Grace Mae

Michelle Mae (NN Ellie and I actually like the alliteration)

Lucy Mae (too popular? But I love this one the most)

    Yeah, it's the only one I'm in love with. But is Lucy too popular? That's my biggest con about it.

    Lucy Mae is the only combination that works. All the others sound odd with Mae.

    And no, Lucy isn't too popular.

    Haha, that's what DH says! But the full name would be Michelle Mae. I doubt anyone would call her Ellie Mae, just Ellie. Right?

    I think Grace is far more popular than the rest. Michelle is really dated to me. Lacy is okay. I LOVE the name Lucy, so that's my vote.

    I like Lucy the best.  I actually prefer it as a nn for Lucille.  I don't like Michelle and I really can't stand how seemingly every name these days is being used as a fn for the nn Ellie.  I know so many Ellie's.  Michelle is a new variation that I hadn't seen before.  I think Shelly would be cute and way less overdone than Ellie.

    I love Grace, but it doesn't flow well with Mae.  I don't care for Michelle or Lacy.

    Yep, this!  Grace and Lacy have similar sound to Mae so I'm not a fan (and I don't like one syllable first names with one syllable middle names!)

    I like lacy...cuz its my name!!!! Although I don't think Mae sounds good with it. My middle name is Jeannette ..

    Currently fostering to adopt an amazing little 1 year old boy..P.J!
