you said you took ambien the second half of your pg, right? what dosage? my mfm just prescribed me 5mg to be taken when needed. did it knock you the hell out? or what? i've read that it can cause hallucinations... hoping i don't start licking the walls...

    god no nothing like that.  at all.  5mg should be enough esp if youve never taken it before.  it only knocked me out for 2-3 hours but....that's how uncomfortable i was. my problem was falling asleep too.  it will be lifesaving for you.  just dont eat for a couple hours beforehand...it doesnt work as well on a totally full stomach.

    cool. i don't eat after dinner anyway, just because if i do i get woken up all night long with heartburn. it's sad that i'm excited to go to sleep tonight.

    i would be too ; )  let me know how it goes. 

    i dont have to take it much anymore...im getting better sleep now actually.  but sometimes if i feel like i wont fall asleep right away (and sleep is like gold around here now) ill take like a 4th of my 10mg pill and that will put me to sleep.  i dont even know if 2-3mg really does anything but sometimes it's more mental with me too.
