TTC after 35

HSG is done!

Apparently, I'm clear as... well, something really clear. The dye shot right through and out.

I'm also tilted to the left for sure and probably back a little. Which is a little weird, according to the doc (the left tilt, not the back tilt). Like me!  Big Smile

I am a little disappointed because it means that there is nothing to fix, but I should be happy that there's nothing really wrong. Now, we have to have MH's swimmers tested on Thursday!

It wasn't too bad-- when he inflated the balloon, it was rather un-fun but with some breathing I was able to get it dulled to a moderate burn. The worst was that having my legs canted out at the knees was tough on my joints and my legs started to shake and the radiology tech had to hold 'em still for me. The poor radiology student was probably nervous about having to stand at the business end of the ordeal as well.

I hope I don't run into that radiologist for a while, at work-- so embarrassing! At least I was well-groomed down there, though!

  • I'm glad that it wasn't as painful for you as I've seen some people describe it as being!

Me too!  I was dreading it. Now, I just have to shake off the 800 mg of Motrin I took. It's making me a little woozy because I took it on an almost empty stomach... LOL

  • I'm so glad it wasn't terrible.  Mine was bad - hubby had to hold down my shoulders.  I didn't have any blockages either!

Glad it went ok.  Hopefully you'll benefit from the cleared tubes this cycle and get a BFP!

  • I'm glad it went ok. I didn't respond to your other post because I'm one of the ones it was a terrible experience for.
