Gender Dreams

I've been convinced that this baby is a boy (though that might just be slight selfishness on my part, since I've always wanted a boy for my firstborn), but last night I had a dream that my newborn was a girl (and she was beautiful)!

 

Anybody had a dream that correctly predicted their baby's gender?

I wanted a boy for my first born as well, but I definitely keep feeling that this is a girl! Including a dream or 2.. 10-12 weeks til the anatomy scan! lol

My mom told me that she had dreams of baby boys throughout her pregnancies with my younger brothers.  She was so sure that they were boys that she didn't even pick out girl names.

I keep dreaming that baby is a girl, so I guess we'll find out pretty soon!

a week before I found out I was pregnant with #2, I had a dream that i was pregnant with a little girl. a week later i found out i was pregnant and ended up having a little girl who looked EXACTLY like she did in my dream. no dreams yet with this one but I do feel like its a boy

I never had gender dreams when I was pg w/DS, but I just knew from the get go that he was a boy. We were able to narrow down a boy name, but went to the hospital with 9 girl names because we couldn't make up our mind. I just didn't feel like that baby was a girl. This one I feel is a girl.

according to old wives tales you dream about the opposite gender you will have...

with that said i have not drempt of a gender just a baby... i was like Awwwwwww baby is so cute!

I haven't had any dreams about the gender, but my mom and MIL have had dreams that it is a girl. Wishful thinking maybe? hehe

I haven't had any dreams but DH had a dream it was a boy and my 8 year old nephew had a dream it was a girl.

I always wanted a boy first, but when I was around 4 weeks with my first I had a dream that it was a girl, and from then on desperately wanted a girl.  It was a boy.  No baby dreams yet this time around.

With DS I 'knew' from the begining (like as soon as I saw two pink lines) that he was a boy.  We were team green with him so we didn't know he was a boy until he was born.  But every single time I had a dream about the baby's gender I would give birth and the dr would announce "it's a girl" and everytime I would look at the dr and say "I don't believe you!! Prove it!!"  And I would start trying to see for myself.  LOL  I would promptly wake up before I saw if the baby was a boy or girl. But those dreams made me even more certain that DS was indeed a boy.

With DS1, I had no clue.  With DS2 I had 3 dreams prior to the anatomy scan where I was told that he was a boy (once by Simon Cowell!), and he was a boy!

I had a dream last week that we had our baby and it was a girl, then later in the dream it was a boy so I guess my dreams aren't letting on to anything yet......lol!

I've heard that whatever gender you dream, you'll have the opposite. Which was true for my DD, I always had dreams with a baby boy, but she's definitely a girl!

I knew DD was girl. Knew it, knew it, knew it. I only recall having one dream about her before finding out the sex, though (all my pregnancy dreams were usually bizarre, vivid, incoherent sequences). I dreamt that we were wedding dress shopping with my younger sister, and we were trying to pick out a flower girl dress for my daughter. She was about 3 or 4 in the dream.

This time, I've had a couple dreams already that it's a boy. In one, his name was Dominic. In the other, I'd just had my a/s and was freaking out about all the boy stuff we needed to get.

We were team green with DD, & I was convinced she was a boy...however, the only dreams I had when pregnant were girl. Trust your dreams!
