Clomid = crazy bloat?

I'm in my TWW on my first cycle on clomid and I'm experiencing a crazy amount of bloat.  Is that a normal side effect?  I'm curious if I should expect this loveliness all summer long if this cycle doesnt take. buddha 

 

Im typing on my iPad and it's being a pita so please excuse the word Buddha above.  For some reason it won't let me erase it.  Lol 

Me: 30, DOR with a FSH of 12.5
DH: 31, no issues
4-6/2012 100mg of Clomid + trigger + IUI/TI = BFN
7/2012 150mg of Gonal-f + trigger + IUI = BFN
8/2012 Surprise unmedicated BFP!! Due May 8, 2013

    Yes. Clomid made me bloat and gain 10 lbs. It also sent me over the edge emotionally. I hope it doesn't do the same for you. But if you sense yourself losing control or wanting to strangle your DH, just remember: it's the hormones!

    This EXACTLY!  Femera has been much kinder to my body and my distain for DH.

    This is my first cycle back on Clomid and while I don't think my mood swings were that bad (DH may think differently), I was definitely bloated and uncomfortable. It has gotten better, but I'm just starting the 2ww.

    Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
    18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!
    BFP #1 6/22/09 EDD: 3/2/10 DS born: 3/8/10

    TTC #2 since Dec 2011
    BFP #2 7/8/12 EDD: 3/18/12 M/C @ 9w1d: 8/16/12
