C-sections

My sutures came off..ow

Now I feel like my incision will open up. It's been about 2 weeks. It looks fine. Just an odd feeling.

Re: My sutures came off..ow

  • Ouch. I cringed reading this. I'm terrified of needing a c-section. Baby measures big and I just hope I'm able to push him out.

How do you feel otherwise? Are you in pain?

I was scared too. It was worse in my head than in reality. The c/s was quick. It wasn't pain, just intense pressure when they pulled her and the placenta out. It was uncomfortable. After, I was sore. But it didn't hurt as much as I expected. Walking was harder at first. I couldn't get up out of bed easy. But my H was very helpful.

    I felt the same way!

Just make sure you don't overdo yourself and you will be fine.  No crazy chores.   No driving.  No lifting anything heavier than your LO.  Make sure you still support your incision when you sneeze, cough, laugh, get out of bed, go over bumps when riding in the car, etc.  Take care of yourself and you will be just fine!
