So my custody and child support hearing was on Friday and here is a little update: My ex agreed to give me sold custody and residential custody of my LO which is FANTASTIC!!! However, he doesn't want supervised visits. He expects me to just give her to him after coming in and out of her life every 2-4 months. UMM I don't think so... Also, he wouldn't take a drug test unless I did so the judge ordered us to take one by 4pm Friday 04/27. So, I took mine right away and as soon as my ex found out we had to take one he claimed he had a job interview and left the court house. I have no idea if he went back to take the drug test or what? What happens if he never took it Friday like he was supposed to? Can I get him in contempt of court? Will he get arrested? As far as child support, he gave his attorney some bogus receipts to try and submit as child support. The Attorney General laughed and said she couldn't accept those as proof. He's such a jack ass! One of these days it'll all catch up to him and I hope its soon. Also, he never paid this months child support either. Maybe he skipped town? I surely do hope so and he'll be gone for good!

Re: Update on court...
Ughhhhow frustrating!! At least now you have been to court, the judge has given him orders, your custody is in place and you can start to move on from their.
Since the judge ordered you to both take drug tests and he may or may not have done his, he will more than likely get an extension unless there is proof he did not have a job interview. Then if he fails to complete the drug test after that he can get fined for being in contempt. Usually unless it comes down to someones safety being effected as part of the neglect to the order judges are more likely to give a second chance on small orders like that because to go through the process of fining someone or even more severe punishment takes a lot of time. Also, more people fight it the first time they pull that sh!t because they can say "I was never told I could get fined" or whatever the chosen punishment would have been.... which I don't get. Shouldn't disobeying a judges order kinda be taken more seriously?? Some people just aren't the brightest bulb in the tanning bed.
I'm not sure where your from, but how did you get the judge to agree to giving him a drug test? was there proof that your child's father has a history with drugs, or is possibly on something now? I'm almost positive my STBXH is on something and would like to have him take a test, which I would consent to taking a test myself to make it fair. My lawyer had said though that unless there is proof the judge more than likely wouldn't grant me that as asking so without valid evidence would be wasting the courts time.
