I've been spritzing it with a bit of EVOO, sprinkling some sea salt on top, and grilling it on the BBQ. So yummy, but I'd like to try out some other options, too!
I wrap it in foil with fresh squeezed lemon juice and mrs. dash and put it in the broiler. Leave the lemon halves in there with it while it cooks!

We usually roast it. Use some EVOO, kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and some shredded parmesan cheese on some aluminum foil on a baking sheet and throw it in the oven for like 10-15 minutes (really depends on how well done you want it) at 350 degrees. It's delicious!
We like to season with onion salt, lemon-pepper, or cajun seasoning. In the cooler months I just sautee it in a skillet, in the summer we toss it on the grill.
When I make it I have to do it my way and DH's way. My way is steamed with melted butter and a dash of brown sugar sauce drizzled and DH eats all his veggies with malt vinegar (YUCK!) stinks so bad.

That is my favorite way! Although if I am not cooking outdoors, I like to saute it up with the EVOO and some onions and dash of salt.
I love this time of year b/c I just love asparagus. I have made cream of asparagus soup, omlette/quiche with asparagus and I saw some crispy parm asparagus on pinterest that I want to try.

Hey! We had it for dinner last night, too! We really SHOULD be BFFs!
We absolutely should. No question.
Oops! I thought you were the one who said you had it for dinner last night, but it was Moongirl.
Malt vinegar?! YUCK is right!
So you are rescinding BFFdom? I see how it is.
It'll all depend on what you put in my May basket.
