This is a total AW post, but it is such a cool story that I kind of had to share it and really you guys are the only ones that would find this as exciting as it is!
So last week I babysat for a labor and delivery nurse (shes military and so is her husband, so I met her through that). She gave my name and numb to a coworker that was on call last night and needed someone to stay at their house to watch her son just in case she was called in. So we were chatting after her son went to bed last night and come to find out she is an OB at the naval hospital on base. She was b!tching about one of the other OB's being rude and not following protocal, turned out to be my OB. When I told her that, she started asking all kinds of questions about why I was seeking treatment and that kind of thing (in the military world you do not see an OB unless you are 20 weeks or more pregnant, or for problems). She said she is about 90% sure I am not ovulating and thinks I should go on Clomid. She took all my information and is going to call me today to get in to see her sometime this week so she can get me started on that for the next cycle.
The best part is, I spent most of yesterday afternoon seriously longing for my baby. I was just begging God to please give me something that would let me know that we would be parents eventually. When I showed up at this womans house she was pregnant, due at the end of July just like I was. I take that as a reminder that our angel is watching over us.
Re: I found a new OB (AW post... sorry)
That is very exciting!
I can relate to the military docs... While we have excellent health insurance benefits, we are oftentimes stuck with a doctor because he/she is the only one taking new patients, or we just don't know any better. I'm honestly considering switching from Tricare Prime to Standard, just so that I can see a civilian doc and not be told who will manage my care.
I hear you on that! I was considering it as well until last night. I am going to give her a shot and see if she can't help us then I may decide to go that route. But honestly, where we are at I am not sure that civilian docs will be any better!
Hope you find one you like also! Have you asked around with other wives to see who they recommend?

Thanks ladies, we are so excited. The bad news is, I am having to talk DH off a ledge because he is terrified of having multiples and completely convinced that we are going to have twins now! Men are so wierd sometimes... when did 10% become a "big chance"?
