Well, ladies! We made it through April! There is a certain relief in the air for me, I hope you ladies feel it too.
So what is new with all ladies with life in general? TTC/TTA front?
Re: ~*~*April Mommas Check-In*~*~
For life in general, I take my last final of the Spring Semester tonight! Yay! Then I will have a couple of weeks off before summer session and my internship starts. I have also made it my goal to repaint my bedroom during the down time- I just feel the need for a change there. Mike was not on board so I told him that maybe the newness of the paint and bedspread will wake up my ovaries. Lol.
TTC Front: I say front b/c sometimes, it really does feel like a war! FF has given me crosshairs which is exciting me! I will be so happy to finally have a period on my own (will be first non-medicated since the m/c) IF I am not being faked out! Of course, a BFP will never be ill recieved.
Hugs to all you ladies!
Congrats on finishing out the semester raashton!
YEAH...we all survived our EDD's! Congrats to all!
As for an update on life...not much. I am trying to focus on doing "spring/summer" things. I planted all of my seeds for my vegetable garden and am hoping that they sprout soon. DH ordered mulch so that I can top off all of our garden beds. I have a few more plants that I would like to put in one of the gardens. I am also focusing on the house. I would like to get custom closet organizers in the larger of our master closets, and possibly paint that room. I guess I am just trying to keep busy.
As for TTCAL...not much. I am still in my 2ww. We really don't have anything left to do but just wait for it to happen (I know, must be patient). I am greatful that my body is responding beautifully to all of the medication, it is just so hard to sit back and just wait for it to happen. I am a doer, not a wait around and see kind of person. It also doesn't help that it took 2 years for it to happen last time. Hopefully we will get lucky soon.
TTC since 11/2009; Lap/HSG/Hysteroscopy: 5/2011 (endometriosis - removed; endocervical polyp - removed; high pressure in bilateral tubes - cleared)

Well, AF has finally come!! after 34 days of waiting!! Not to bad I would like to think. So far I'm on day 6 of AF and it hasn't been that bad surprisingly, really heavy bleeding the first 2 days, but after that it was pretty much normal.
New with "Life" Well I passed a test that I needed for a Law Enforcement job, and I have to take another one, and once I do that I can submit my application to be a Law Enforcement Officer for the state of FL. I'm really excited, but that just means the TTA period will be way longer than I wanted. I've been really emotional lately with just about every thing, I have too many decisions to figure out. But With all of that I'm excited about the future, even if that means no babies for a while. I'm feeling really guilty DS turns 5 on the 14th of May, and I want to give him a sibling, and I hate that the age gap is already 5 years, but now I'm going to make it more...
***BFP 1-22-13, baby boy dx with Trisomy 13 at 15 weeks.
We let him go to Heaven on 4-27-13 at 17 weeks 1 day***
Good Morning Mommas! I hope everyone is doing well. Congrats on making it through the semester, Raashton!
What's new with me? Well, I have my MFM appointment on Friday. I am not sure what it will entail, but I am ready to get back to TTC, so I am excited. I should have some news from the appointment for next weeks check-in.
I have my first baby shower since either of my m/c on the 12th, so we will see how that goes. Then the following weekend I have a bridal shower for my future SIL. May is going to be pretty busy!!

Next Monday is DS's birthday, so I am busy planning his party this Saturday. He picked a Toy Story Theme.
Hello April Mamas!
Let me just tell you how flippin' GLAD I am that April is over. Now I feel I can move on. It was, by far, the hardest and most challenging month to date.
DH and I are officially TTC'ing. We're charting but not tempting and trying to do it as much as possible. (Speaking of which, I need to re-add my chart.) We're hopeful but we're also trying not to stress, either. I'm currently in the 2ww and I'll test on Saturday if AF doesn't show up by then.
*HUGS* to all of my wonderful April Mamas on here.
Yay for bodies responding to medication!!! Good luck at the end of your 2ww.
I would love to have one of those custom closets! I can't wait for the money to do it some day.
Congrats on your passing your test! But I understand how that can be very rough, rearranging the vision you had for your family. If it makes you feel better, my older sister is 8 years older than I am and growing up, I idolized her! I felt like big stuff when we would do sister day. And now, that age difference doesn't seem so big.
I will be keeping you and the May Flowers close to my heart!
What a fun theme for your son's party!
I was fine the first shower I went to after my loss until we got to the gifts. I would recommend putting your gift at the beginning if you need to leave b/c it starts to hurt. Good luck and hugs to you for going!
I hope your appointment goes well! Hoping for good news for you!
Yay! More people to chart stalk! I hope that you won't have to add your chart though... But good for you all for not stressing too much about it. I need to take a page from your book!
Hugs to you!
Hey April ladies!
Rashton, good luck on your test tonight!
I agree with the sentiment that I am glad this month is almost gone! Not too terribly much going on here. Just waiting for some crosshairs from ff so I will officially be in the 2WW. I am honestly kinda at the point where I just expect we are going to get a negative so I try to look forward to something I couldnt do if I was pregnant.
Right now I'm focusing on trying to get back into running and train for a half- marathon. I started this before I got my bfp last year and had to stop due to an injury(couldn't run for over three mOnths and then just never picked it back up.) So far that is working pretty good.
(((hugs))) to everyone for making it through the month
BFP #2: 8/31/12 EDD: 5/18/13 Chemical pregnancy: 9/4/12
BFP #3: 5/17/13 EDD: 1/24/14 Loss at 5 weeks: 5/29/13
Lots of testing, all clear with the exception of compound heterozygous for the MTHFR mutation.
Cycle 1: Femara, trigger shot, Bravelle added due to slow response = BFN
Cycle 2: Cancelled due to two cysts =(
Cycle 3: Femara, Bravelle, trigger shot and IUI = BFP then loss #3
Cycle 4: Femara, Follistim, trigger shot and IUI = BFP! EDD: 6/7/14
PGAL/PAL welcome
I will be hoping that your body responds soon!
Good luck on training for your half marathon!
Good luck on your test raashton!
as for me, I am now on cd55. FF says 25dpo but I seriously think it is wrong, my chart does not look biphasic or triphasic. Wednesday last week I went to my GP who also delivered DS and I had basic labs done which all came back normal. I had an u/s done on Thursday and that came back normal also. I posted about this last Thursday but if you missed it here is the re-cap. My Naturopath/Dermatologist sent me a letter wanting me to have extensive thyroid testing done, I guess just normal TSH lab won't pick up if there is something awry and ND's are really good about testing deeper to see what the issue is. I went in this morning to get those labs done and I guess now I just wait to see what the findings are on it. My acupuncturist has stopped the Chinese herbs until we hear back on the labs from today and until then she has put me on Vitex tincture twice a day. She said that if it's just progesterone and estrogen this should balance it out but won't harm me if it is a thyroid issue. Any of you ladies tried Vitex?
DH wanted to just do things naturally and if it happens it happens and he didn't want to know anything about OPK's and Charting and I think now that I am having such crazy cycles and it seems like I'm not ovulating he is more interested in what's going on with my body and more accepting of getting help with this. Boy was that huge run on sentence!
I think going to my GP was not very helpful and I should have been more aggressive about telling her what to look for, but then again she isn't an OB-GYN so I don't really expect her to have the same expertise and knowledge as an OB-GYN.
I hope the labs show something so that we can figure out what the next step is. I still really want to do things as naturally as possible without any sort of help with Western medicine. I just don't like the thought of taking pills that may or not work with possible side effects.
ok, that is my update for this week, thanks for reading, it was a long one!
edit: I forgot to mention the DH almost slipped in the tub yesterday and hurt his neck and is now immobile, there goes DTD for awhile
FF gave me CH last cycle numerous times but they were false (ended up taking prometrium) and it was so frustrating! I hope that you figure out what works best for you!
To answer your question, I have not tried Vitex.
I would be going to an OB. As much faith as I would have in my GP, it would just feel good to go to someone who knows that system in and out.
