TTC after 35

Cycle 9 BFN...FTW!!!

BFN.

I feel like the hormones, exhaustion and anxiety from clomid is a waste...

DH and I agreed we wouldn't go IVF- due to the complete OOP for all of this and the needs of our family, but that is exactly what I think we should do instead of wasting another month of emotional capital on IUI and clomid.

I don't know what to do...I had planned to get back to running and weights, but don't feel like it now.

Thanks for being here for me to rant and cry to and track my efforts.

  • I am so sorry for the BFN.  After my IUI's I needed time to mourn before I got back to doing regular things.  Give yourself the time that you need.

As far as IVF costs, there are many options if you are OOP.  There are payment plans and shared risk options that might work if you really want to do it.  If your RE has a financial planner, you may want to sit down with them and see if they have something that could make IVF an option if that is what you want to do.

  • I'm so sorry this cycle didn't work out for you. MH and I also are feeling that IVF is not an option for us because it would be OOP, so my biggest fear is that the Clomid doesn't work.

I like the pp suggestion though-- to check out financial options with the RE directly, as well as taking some time to reflect and feel what you need to feel before moving forward.

    ((hugs))
