I don't know if it is the weather or hormones, but I have been getting a headache every other day. I feel so guilty taking a tylenol even though the dr says its safe. Does anyone else feel this way?
I avoided it in the first tri, but had a bad headache last week and took one and it was magical. I think you're fine as long as you're not, like, crushing up all the pills in the bottle and snorting them.
My MD said (during my last pregnancy) that if I were to get a bad headache, try drinking a real Coke and taking Tylenol.
This is my go to solution these days... I try not to take tylenol for everything, but I know its much better for me to take it and have the headache go away then have it turn into a full migraine that needs something much stronger and a trip to the ER.
I get them all the time. My dr said they are due to hormones. Tylenol usually doesn't help mine anyway so I usually just opt for the Coke remedy and a nap.
I have been getting headaches since week 7. I've had a tension/migraine headache daily for the past 7 days. I finally gave in and took a tylenol...it helped tremendously. I hope these don't continue into the second trimester!
Tylenol is safe! It may not work, but it is category B. I only had headaches with my Boy pregnancies! No headaches this time, so now I think it is a girl:)
Tylenol is the only thing that is safe. Take it when you need it. There's no point in suffering.
AMEN!! Don't suffer. Between morning (or in my case afternoon) sickness, hot flashes, bloating, etc... Don't let the headaches get to you. I get headaches so bad that THEY make me nauseous. The problem is that when I usually get them I'm usually close to needing to eat which means I feel too bad to eat but then I feel even worse. Take the relief.
Re: Headaches and Tylenol
This.
I've never felt guilty taking it.
