Just realized there was another 35-year-old living in Chicago.
I always just remember you from your gorgeous daughter's picture, so I've never really noticed your age! Hope you enjoy this hazy, overcast weekend ... I'm assuming this is our last bout of cold. (But really, who can complain about the weather in this last six months? It's been a dream.)
We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.
“So can you understand? Why I want a daughter while I’m still young?
I wanna hold her hand and show her some beauty before all this damage
is done. But if it’s too much to ask, it’s too much to ask … Then send
me a son.” – Arcade Fire
Re: .:{egsquared}:.
Of course i knew you lived in Chicago, but I didn't realize you were 35 too - that's awesome! I can hardly believe I'm 35 though, and DH just turned 37 which just seems so close to 40. Eeek!
Hope you're enjoying the weekend regardless of the weather! And thanks so much for the compliment to my DD! We think she's pretty cute.
I can hardly believe I'm 35 as well ... Physically, I can definitely notice a difference. Ha. But mentally, not at all. My boyfriend is 27, so he kind of brings me down in age, somewhat, and I'm thankful for that. But yes, 40 seems awfully close.
We've actually had a wonderful Saturday, and I'm hoping tomorrow will be just as great! Good luck this cycle!
