I suck at Team Green

My name is Juliane and I am impatient.

Today, team green turned.... TEAM PINK!

I went to my fetal echocardiogram today, but asked the tech to write down the sex in an envelope, since DH couldn't be there today and find out with me. She said their policy forbids them from writing it down.

Hmm Whatever.

So, she said she could print out a photo of the sex-shot but that she'd tell me what to look for (boy vs girl).

DH and I went to dinner tonight at a Cheesecake place, and asked the server if she felt comfortable looking at the photo and determining the sex and bringing out a piece of cheesecake with either blueberries (boy) or strawberries (girl).

She said "Sure!" and in a few minutes we were brought a cheesecake with....

BLUEBERRIES! (boy)

DH & I decided to look at the u/s photos ourselves, just because we wanted to see and hadn't seen the photos yet.

Well, the server was wrong! It's a GIRL!

WE ARE TEAM PINK!!!!!!

Ha! Did your server feel a little sheepish? ;o) You guys got the fun of finding out it is a boy! And then finding out it is a girl! All in one sitting. LOL How fun, and congrats!

i know with our U/S to determine the sex and there was no denying its a BOY for us....its a dangler...not a slit.....lol

i am sure that comment will offend some of you but its true and giggle worthy

Why couldn't she write girl or boy ON the picture?? There's nothing that "forbids" that, my u/s pics from my two previous a/s have that written on them. Sounds like you got a super crabby u/s tech.

I suck at it too..I dropped out a week ago but we still have to wait 12 days until my ultrasound [not like I'm counting or anything..]. Congrats on Team Pink [again!].

That's what I thought too, that she could write boy or girl on the photo but nope. She said for her to do that, she has to tell me outloud first. So strange.

And at my anatomy scan 3 weeks ago, I asked if they would write it at my next one, and they said their policy is "no" too. Sounds like a weird policy, IMO.
