Had a great dr appt!

I finally met with a new ob today for my annual and to discuss my 2nd c/p.  He was great!  He looked at my charts and said that most of them look good but a few could be anovulatory.  He suggested clomid but I said that I'd rather try progesterone first, and he gladly agreed.

I also told him that I am still BFing and he said that it could mess with my progesterone levels, which I know is possible from research I've done.  My old ob completely disregarded it and told me how her mom got KU with her little brother right away, so therefore it's possible (for everyone) to get pregnant while bfing.  Right.

So, the plan is to use the prometrium for 3 months and then try out clomid after that.   

I'm so glad to be doing something!  I just hope this helps me get a sticky baby soon.  :-)  Thank you for all of your support, advice, and wisdom!

    Sounds like your getting on the right track! A good doctor makes all the difference.

    Good luck!  I hope the progesterone is they key.

    Thanks, everyone!  I'm so much happier with this guy and he seemed more professional than my old dr.  I'm looking forward to trying it out to see if it works!  Plus, I just saw some ewcm today, so it's time to dtd!

    4 Losses (2003, 2008, Apr 2012, & Oct 2012)
    All RPL and IF testing with multiple REs = normal

    5 IUIs = BFN

    All AL are welcome

    It helps to have a good doc... But if your anovulatory in some cycles I don't think progesterone will do much... But good luck

    I'm glad your doctor was supportive and listened to you!  I think if there's any concern at all (documented, charted cycles), there's no reason to not look into progesterone supplements as it can correct a LP issue for some.  Good luck moving forward Smile
