but thinking of boy names... what do you think of brody/brodie? (not sure how we would spell it) 

also our last name begins with M....we will be giving a middle name but first and last initial would be BM ... deal breaker?

I much prefer Brody over Brodie. But yes, BM would be a deal breaker for me.

Brodie is very cute, but personally, I wouldn't do with the initials BM

I don't love the name Brody.  I think it sounds cutesy and would get the "grody Brody a lot".  I don't think B.M. initials are a bad thing at all.  DH is BM and I am BM through marriage.  It has never come up.

Brody is just okay for me, but I would avoid the initials BM.

I'm not fond of Brody/Brodie, but I also don't think it's a terrible name. I know a Luke and Scott sibset (love). The initials BM wouldn't bother me.

I like Broderick nn Brody... that's as close as I can get to Brody.

Unfortunately, I was reading today that Brody means "muddy ditch"? I normally could care less about initials, but combine BM with a name that has this kind of meaning and it would irk me even if no one else ever brought it up.

I know brothers Luke and Will.  

BM is bowel movement, another way of saying poo.

I grew up with the initials EW. You know how many people ever pointed that out to me? Exactly zero. 

 

I have a Luke. We are having so much trouble thinking of a second boy name. But I like Brady better than Brody. I also like Gabe.
