    More modern movies: Too many to choose from.

    Probably "Pretty in Pink" solely based on the Ducky singing Otis Redding scene.

     I also love "Pride and Prejudice", "Legion", Stigmata, The Covenant, How to Lose a Guy in 10 days.

    I love Doris Day!

    For other movies, Shaolin Soccer, Jacob's Ladder, Dead Man, and Memento.

    I also have a soft spot for Flight of the Navigator, which I must have watched 500 times as a kid. It is not, however, a good movie.

    My DH is still mad at me for making him watch Dear John lol. The ending pissed him off.

     

    My favorites are The Princess Bride, Walk to Remember, and The Lovely Bones.

    The Notebook, Hope Floats and Forrest Gump because DH does a great Forrest impression...makes me smile every time!

    DH: 31, SE mostly normal, 1st SE morph 5%, 2nd SE morph 15%...yeah!.
    BFP July 2011, Natural MC August 2011.
    3 cycles of 50mg Clomid = BFN
    *New RE* Feb/Mar 2012 100 mg Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN
    *3rd RE* April-June -Break Cycles begin prep for IVF by doing 2 Heparin injects daily....fun fun!
    IVF #1 - ER 7/19, ET 7/24, 2 beautiful embies transferred. Beta 8/2 = BFN
    *New RE...yes again* FET Nov 2012 with our lone ranger = BFFN
    RE Suggests Trying IUI Again, Jan. 2013 IUI #2 =BFN
    Feb. 2013 IUI #3 = BFP!!!, Beta #1 (15dpIUI) = 90, Beta #2 (17dpIUI) = 210, U/S Scheduled for 3/18

    Its so hard to choose my favorite, but I have some great memories of watching Gone With the Wind, Dr. Zhivago and The Sound of Music over and over with my now 90 year old Grandma so I would probably say those because of the sentimental value :)

    TTC since April 2009
    9/11 - Started Acupuncture, began O on my own in November!
    1/12 - Consult w/ RE
    1/24/12 - Lap & Cystectomy to remove a tumor w/ precancerous cells from left ovary, also removed part of left ovary, no signs of endo noticed at that time
    2/12 - forced break to recover from surgery
    3/12- given the OK to start treatment w/ RE
    3/12 - HSG = right side good, unable to get dye in left tube so cannot verify if it is clear
    5/12 - Clomid + trigger + IUI = BFN 6/12 - Medicated cycle cancelled due to cysts, natural cycle instead

    Shawshank Redemption is my all time fav.  But others include:  Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, When Harry Met Sally, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy, and Old School.  Oh, and any Kevin Smith movie...but esp. Dogma.  I saw over on TTGP their dance party had several Jay and Silent Bob clips and it filled my heart with joy.

    Step Brothers for comedy and Crazy, Stupid, Love for Romantic Comedy. I could watch both of those a thousand times and they wouldn't get old and I normally can't stand to watch a movie more than once.
