I am thinking this is more a "mind your own business" thing but I feel bad for the kid involved. I also don't know the current law for this so...yeah.
Background info: I have a facebook friend that I went to high school with. She comments on my posts ALL.THE.TIME - always positive and nice remarks. I don't think I have ever commented on her posts. We were not that close in high school and she actually dated my DH in hs.
So, she has a little boy who just turned 3 in March and she keeps posting pictures of him in his booster seat. Like, regular old booster with a seat belt and he is always leaning sideways or forward being silly. Is this even legal? She always posts about what a peanut he is so he can't weigh enough. I don't know what the age is before it is "okay" because we have decided to 5pt harness for as long as possible so I haven't looked into it. I just feel like she is doing her DS a disservice. I am giving her the benefit of the doubt and thinking that she just doesn't know that this can be dangerous for him. She seems like a good mom so she just may not know he really should still be in a car seat.
That is the only reason why I want to say something - I think if she was made aware, that may change her mind. She may just be thinking that this is a good option for him. However, I don't know how you could say something without making her mad. Would you say something or MYOB?
Re: Would you say anything?
Not your business.
Also, I think when it comes to posture, the times you take pics of your kid in your car seat aren't necessarily the times when you have them strapped in like you would normally.
