Update on CS hearing.

It went very well.  He showed up with his gf.  I had my bf waiting in the downstairs lobby but when I saw her I called him to join us.  Basically our lawyers went back and forth before the hearing and we came to an agreement on all the numbers.  Basically his lawyer told him the numbers are the numbers and there's nothing you can do about it right now.  I was awarded arrears back to Aug. 1. and exactly what I was expecting in cs.  I am so happy.  I do feel a teeny tiny bit bad for him as he is now paying child support payments to two women.  Mine is even more than for his exwife who he has two kids with as they went to court like 13 years ago when he had a much lower paying job.

But I know not to celebrate to much as we will have mediation in a few months for the visitation and parenting plan.  And if that doesn't go well he could call a hearing for visitation.  But my lawyer feels like he is really getting all he can as far as visitation goes because of our distance and my son's age.  He is two.

Don't feel bad about how much he's paying out in CS to you and his ex.  He made the decision to have 3 children with 2 different women.  My husband's current CS for K is the same amount as the CS I'm supposed to receive from my XH for our 2 kids.  It happens.  We make it work every month. 

I'm glad the hearing brought you some peace of mind.
