I think it is so irritating when people assume that just because they cannot/do not accomplish something, that the people who do are lying about it. 

 

Example? 

Um are you kidding? How about the post you just quoted that you don't believe people who don't fight over money.

Yes, I was kidding. I figured that's what she meant. I still don't believe it, btw. 

well, in our case it is true....never had a fight over money or anything for that matter....we talk about things like two partners, two adults. 

Fighting doesn't make you less of an adult. And I don't believe you still. 

That is okay you don't have to but it is true!!!  Why do you feel everyone fights about money??

I have friends who both work for non-profits and have no $ and they argue about money. I have friends who have 20 million dollar trust funds and they have things to argue about. My husband is the CEO of a large company and we are pretty comfortable and we have times were we don't agree. I just don't see how so many posts/complaints about not feeling like you are bringing anything to the marriage, worried about money and budgets, etc. can be on here but the majority of people said they don't argue. Ever. It's BS.

It just blows my mind that anyone would be that closeminded...and worring about money has nothing to do with argueing/agreeing about money...there are times that both me and DH worry about money....we just share our fears and then do something about it(re-do the budget, planning etc.)  Being so close minded and not being able to see that other people deal with things completely different then you and your friends is just laughable.

I'm not close minded by any means...I just think people are full of it. Why does it bother you so much?
