1st Day in Day Care!

I took my girls to their day care today for the first time.  It's just a "practice" day for us and them, so they will stay about five hours.  Daddy has the best part of this experiment.  He will go pick them up later.  I think he was more nervous than me about leaving them.  In a way, I think he was a little sad. 

I did learn some valuable things about day 1.  Kathryn woke @ 4am for a change and feed, and Margaret woke @ 5:30am for hers.  Then I started waking them @ 6:30am to get them into their daytime clothes and give a bottle as needed.  I think that I will get them into their daytime clothes during their morning wake-up time.  I will try that next week when day care starts full time. 

I am almost wondering if their sleep schedule will change once I get a regular wake-up schedule going.  Anyway, I just thought I would share the milestone!  I hope everyone is having a great day!

Good for you! Our boys will start daycare in August. We'll start them a couple weeks before I go back to work, just to get into the routine.
