Ideas to help the #2 part of potty training

So our oldest is pee trained.  She'll go on command and when she has too and in the last month month since we trained has had 2 accidents involving pee.  She also stays dry during her nap.  However we have not had a successful poop yet so what can I do to help that along?  She knows the difference and freaks out the second after she poops in her underwear, but still won't tell me before hand.  Ideas?

Re: Ideas to help the #2 part of potty training

  • Let her know that you don't mind her going poop in her pull up, but to ask for one when it is time to go.  After she does that ask her to poop in the pull up in the bathroom so at least she is in the right room.  We got DS to finally go be leaving him alone and closed the door and he finally did it.  Never had an accident after.
