looking for tiny underwear

DS has been dry for almost a week now.  He's 26 months but has tiny little hips and a tiny little waist.  Some 18-24 months stuff is still a little big on him.  For training, I got 6 pairs of the Gerber 2T training underwear (a little thicker, etc.), but now that he's been dry, I'd like to get him something a little more interesting (Thomas or something like that).  It's been my experience that Gerber runs small, and even their 2T underpants are a bit big on him.  If you potty trained early or had a smaller child, where did you find big boy/big girl underwear that fit?  TIA!

DD is really tiny too. Her waist is probably a 6-12 mo. I found the Gerber trainers in 18 mos and they are a little big, but believe it or not, the character 2T/3Ts actually fit just fine. They are a tiny bit loose, but don't fall down or anything, just roomy. You should give them a try. They are the smallest size I have ever seen...

Don't worry, the 2T underwear will shrink since it's 100% cotton.  My DS has a tiny waist and butt and he outgrew the Thomas underwear in a few weeks.  Plus you want the underwear to be loose so he can pull it down and up more easily.

I agree with the PPs.

My son is 2 but 18 month pants and still lose on him.  The 2T unders fit him just fine.

Grant is pretty small. Around 25 lbs and wears 18 month shorts. We got the 2T/3T underwear and they fit fine. We also use the 18 month Gerber training pants which I couldn't find in stores but got on Amazon, so that might be an option for you.

Another post - 2T should be fine.  DD wears 18 month shorts and is skinny.  I think the Hanes undies are smaller than the Gerber ones.
