My DS has been on Alimentum for almost five days. My question is about his poop. I've noticed the last few poopy diapers have a little yellowish green mucus. Could this be the old formula making it out of his system or is it something else that I should call his pedi about?

My older son was on it for a year, I think he had that occasionally too. How is he acting? Happy? Content? Sleeping well? I think if he's all of those things, and eating fine, I'd probably let it go. If he seems miserable, call. In my experience, they tend to not worry about poop unless it's obviously an issue (like it's black).

When DD first switched to Alimentum she had greenish runny poo for about 2 weeks.  My pedi said it is pretty common when switching to it.  I would just use you instincts and if you feel somethings not right call your pedi.  DD's reflux and allergy symptoms resolved and her overall demeanor improved so much that the poo was not even worrisome to us.

DD has been drinking Alimentum for about 3 1/2 months now. Her poop is always green and watery sometimes a little brown...Pedi says its normal from the formula:)
