Anyone reading 50 Shades of Grey?

After hearing all of the hoopla about it I decided to order it and am halfway done so far. The writing is not the best but it's an interesting guilty pleasure for sure. Wondering if anyone else on the board is reading the "mommy porn" as they call it!

I read all three books in the series. I agree that the writing isn't great, and there really isn't much of a plot either. They were a pretty good read though! I'm a little embarrassed to talk about them to others who have read them! lol They are pretty intense!

Read them. I enjoyed the first one, the other two got on my nerves. It was a fun, fast read.They're about a dysfunctional millionaire finding love. Lots of sex.

OMG so dirty!! It's a major porn book! I'm half way through the first one. I read sex all day!!

It got too lovey dovey for my taste, and he just got so annoying. I found myself rolling my eyes over and over again.Definitely go for it and read them, though. Gotta see it through.

The writing was so horrible that I returned my kindle copy to Amazon after the first chapter or so.  I can't read a book that sounds like it was written by a 7 year old.

I'm 28% through book 3. Thank god they've cut back on the sex scenes, I was really starting to get annoyed and skim those sections.

I have heard a lot of people say this. I think this is definitely one I am going to skip.

Oh the writing is pretty terrible. Very similar to Twilight, but also similar to the way you can get swept up into the story/pacing even though you realize it's a bit absurd.
