Induction ??

I'm going in tomorrow night for the Cervadil...so on Thursday morning will they be most likely to break my water first or do the pitocin first?  What would be the benefit of doing either first?  I'm sorry if I'm supposed to know this--I'm a FTM and nervousssss......

Most likely they will start the pitocin first.  I don't think they like to break your water until you are further along.  Good Luck!

 On your question, I believe they do the pitocin first but what do I know I'm a nervous FTM too lol

As a positive story I never got to the pitocin ... Cervidil was enough to kick start my body (admittedly 2 doses).  It was no where near as bad as I was expecting an induction to be, they broke my water right before pushing.  If I had have needed it they would have given me the pit before breaking my water.  Good luck, I hope you have a smooth labor & delivery.
