Question for those who got pregnant while EBF

Hi there... can't believe I'm even thinking straight and asking this...

Did any of you get pregnant while EBFing and either on or fresh off the mini-pill?  DD is just shy of 10 months, EBF still, and I'm back to my monthly migraines the past 2 months.  That makes me think my hormones and body are back to pre-preg levels.  We're considering TTC ASAP due to timing with work and leave.

 So finally my question: without the mini-pill, were any of you TTC while EBF?  Can you share LO's age and how long it took? How long off the mini-pill if you were on it?

 FWIW - we were "hey, let's TTC" and did the first month for DD... maybe the fertility gods are on our side?

My son was eating quite a bit of solids when we got pregnant, but he was still nursing 4 times a day (at 13 months old). 

I got my period back when he was 6 months old (and he wasn't eating any solids at the time).  We used condoms (most of the time!) until he was 11 months old.  Then, we were doing the not-trying-not-not-trying thing and got pregnant when he was 13 months old.

I got my P back when LO was 12 months old and then got pregnant the very next cycle!  I was never back on any BC as we knew we wanted them close together.  LO was nursing 4-6 times a day at 12 months old and a TON of solids, and not sleeping thru the night (2-3 feedings at night).  He is now almost 17 months old and nursing 2-3 times a day (night time, 1-2 at night and then AM), and I am sore (nips) but doing ok with it.  Will try to wean in the next couple months cause I really don't want to nurse two!

I was EBF with all of my kids when I got PG with the next one.  I haven't seen AF in over 6 years!  (some spotting here and there, but nothing like I used to get).

I was (still am) EBF (although he does eat solids, but it's all baby-led solids, zero purees, zero spoons), and even bed-sharing (so very often nursing alllllllll night long), and we're about 7 weeks pg with #2.

I got my period back when he was 5.5 months, 2 weeks after I started back to work (so I was pumping 4x/day instead of nursing, but that was the only change...not even on solids yet).  I had that first period, and according to my first u/s, I ovulated/got pg 6 weeks later.

I was ebfing on the mini pill and didn't get my period when I got pg. mine are 16 months apart. I only tested because my supply dropped and my boobs hurt. 

 This age spacing was easy for them (easy for them to adjust to a sibling) but a lot of work for me and stressful because I SAH and DH is little to no help.

My next kid willbe 2.5-3 years from DS

I was EBF and on the mini pill when I got pregnant with DD #2. My girls are 11 1/2 months apart.

I was EBF while I got pg.  DS was 5.5 months old, we hadn't started solids, he wasn't STTN and was nursing on-demand so I thought the odds of me getting pg were pretty low, especially considering AF hadn't returned yet.  We weren't exactly trying but we weren't preventing so I'm not sure how long it took.  Good luck TTC!

DD was 8 months old and still BF five times a day when I got pregnant.  I hadn't been on the pill, but I was charting my cycles.  We stopped charting/preventing pregnancy and planned to actively start trying to get pregnant if I wasn't already when DD was a year.  I got pregnant the very first month of not charting.

I EBF DD and used condoms, go pregnant when she was 9months old.  We weren't trying.  Period came back at 4.5 months old...  oops...  ; )

I was one of the ones who got their period back at 5m, despite EBF. It took three months of opks+TI, and then I got pg with this one at 8m PP.

Im still bfing DD, but my supply has taken a serious hit, so I'm now a 75% formula feeder (holy hell that crap is expensive!)

I was still BF at 12 months, probably about 4 times a day, when I got pregnant on my 1st try with DD#2.  You are most fertile after having a baby, not sure for how long but the more I hear other people's stories the more I can't believe how quickly people get pregnant the 2nd time.  I am blessed to have gotten pregnant on our first tries with both of my babies!!!!  Good luck!!
