Our Pedi told us this at our appointment last week. That it's just for fun and she said that until a year we should really think of solids as dessert, it should never replace milk and DD's milk intake should not decrease at all during the first year.

Yeah! I thought it was rather clever of her to say, I really like our Pedi she comes up with some good analogies that are cute and make a ton of sense. Like when we took DD in for her 2 month app Doc called her a little car driving down the right road. She was tiny but her weight gain was perfect.
