IUI #4...in the books!

DH put in another stellar performance with 100 million/ml and 95% motility post-wash...

Now on to the dreaded waiting game. 4th IUI's a charm, right? 

TTC Since 11/10 due to Unexplained IF 
4 Rounds of Clomid, 2 Rounds of Femara + IUI, 2 rounds of IUI+ Injectables (Bravelle + Menopur) = First BFP! TWIN GIRLS!

November 2, 2012 - Claire (2lbs 8.9oz) and Paige (2lbs 10oz) arrive at 29w3d due to PTL and pPROM at 28w5d

    DX: PCOS/Recurrent losses/MTHFR mutation (compound hetero)
    5 hysteroscopies/2 surgical
    3 Inject IUIs = 2 m/c's and 1 BFN
    IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
    IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!

    I'm hoping 4th IUI is the charm too. I just had mine yesterday. When do you go in for your beta?
    Dx: LPD, late ovulation;
     July 2012:IUI #6 on 7/28, BFP on 8/9,beta 97, 8/11 189, 8/13 400!!   DS born 4/18!
    9/30/13 - Miracle BFP, released from RE 10/21, EDD 6/6/14, DD born 5/27!
    6/19/16 - Miracle BFP, EDD 2/25/17

    Wishing you lots of luck!!!   If you do not mind me asking how did you come to the decision of doing a 4th IUI - are the odds different if you do not use Clomid (my RE told me after 3 cycles w/ Clomid the odds decrease w/ each additional IUI).  I see that you are not taking Clomid so wondering if I should pursue another drug before going onto IVF.  My RE wants us to do 3 rounds IUI/clomid ( we are on #2) then move on to IVF.  Should also note I am from Cincinnati - going to the Bethesda Fertility Center.

    Hey! We went for a 4th IUI because it's only the 2nd round of treatment for injects -- we'll probably do one more before we move to IVF. Of the two prior IUI/Femara rounds, I'm pretty sure I only ovulated for one of them (and had lining issues). So, we're up for trying at least three rounds of any given method of treatment -- assuming everything looks good on paper. I I'm @ IRH in Cincy.

    They don't schedule betas -- basically, if I don't get AF in two weeks, I call them and then we go in for blood work.

    I see.  Good luck!  I hope you get your beta!

    Re: IVF -I would be surprised if your RE had you go from 3 cycles of Clomid right to IVF.  Like PP said, my RE suggests 2-3 cycles of each protocol before switching up the medication cocktail.  IVF is the last resort, unless there are severe MFI issues (in which case, I'm not sure what they think Clomid is doing - unless he's taking it!).  GL to you too!
