sometimes my belly button flattens out

My belly button popped out pretty early, maybe around 18 weeks. Now I'm noticing that sometimes it becomes flush with my belly. Is this because the baby is situated differently in my belly and my uterus is changing shape? I feel like if his head is to the side of my belly button that my belly button goes in. Does this make any sense? Anyone else experience this?

Belly Button...what's a belly button.  Mine is gone.  Instead of poking out, mine gets sucked in.  It's like a tiny little slit.  My LO does sit to the side, so that might explain it.  I think your theory makes sense.

I still have a full innie...I can smuggle a marble in it haha.  Everyone keeps telling me it will flatten out but I'm pretty sure they're wrong.

Me! Mine also popped super early. There are times where mine is poking all the way out & other times where it flattens out & is really wide. I think it just depends on how I'm carrying at the time
