Hired Doula at 33 weeks!

We just hired our Doula- and I'll be 34 weeks this Friday. We cut it a little close, but I am so, SO happy that we made the decision to move forward with hiring her. We are taking Bradley method classes, but I was still a bit nervous about how everything would play out.

Just had to rejoice a little on here, to people who would care! :)

    Congrats! We are in the process of hiring a doula as well. I think it will be a great decision for us since we're planning to give birth in the hospital.

    Good for you.  I just went on walks around my neighborhood with my doula before the big day as I was already taking birth prep classes.  The walks were just a chance for us to get to know each other and how we communicate. 

    We hired her when I was about 30 weeks along.  It still seemed like forever before the baby came.
