In labor, wish me luck

Since my bloody show yesterday morning I've been having intermittent crampy contractions, nothing remarkable. Woke up last night to some decently painful ones and started timing. There was no way I could sleep, which sucks because I'm already tired. Contractions are now 5-6 min apart and lasting 70-80 seconds each. The only way to get through them is to stand p and grip the back of a chair while moaning. I'm finding it impossible to relax. My doula is headed over and DH just has to finish orienting his replacement at work before coming home. I hope to labor at home as long as possible. Not looking forward to the fetal monitor and getting a cervical check at the hospital, feeling the way I am. So wield to think I could have a baby tonight! Hopefully s/he won't hold out for too long!
