1. I'm 1dpiui.

2. I think I may have O'd two days ago.  But I still feel positive

3. My in-laws are buying a house in FL!  They're going to slowly retire and move there.  We'll vacation there   I hope!

4. The day after tomorrow is our social worker day!  I'm so excited to meet her and get moving in this process!  I just want to start classes TODAY!

5.  The nurse yesterday said to treat myself like a pregnant lady.  Love that.  But that means no Ibuprofen for my back/nerve pain

6.  Tomorrow I'm getting "prepped" for two crowns.  Whatever that means.  Luckily I adore my dentist (and everyone in the office), so I actually enjoy going in!

7.  If this cycle doesn't work, we have to take another month off to pay for my dental work.  Stupid mouth! June sounds a long way away.  At least we'll be taking foster classes during that time.

8.  I want Erat Jean to update her blog!!!! What's going on with the house???

9.  Oh- I just checked and she did update!  Thanks   But have you figured out how to arrange the bedrooms, etc?

2. First visit from AF since our first IUI attempt - I'm surprisingly OK with it.

3. Excited, but in a calm way about the next try. 

4. I got in to work at the unspeakable time of 7 o'clock today to help our ops team. Early in, early out? I hope so.

6. Very excited for our weekend of doing nothing this weekend

7. I tried some oats porridge today called 'better oats' with flax seeds in it. It was very very sugary. Not sure how much better they are.

8. Allergies are really bad, I've got a headache.

9. I'm going to see about roller derby - I haven't been in ages, and I love it!

1.  I keep typing things but erasing.

2.  11 days until my big work event.  So much to do and the reason why I'm MIA a bit more.

3.  My coworkers are here but not in their offices. Is there some meeting I'm missing?

4. I don't really care.  I have enough going on.

5.  On my way to K's defense I'm going to treat myself to coffee.  Starbucks makes life better.  Always.

6.  Mandykatie - I feel like once you get your BFP things will be complete. You're part of the original crew around here and part of me sticks around to "hear" your journey.

7. So I have the weirdest injury and I need to go see a doc but haven't had time.  I was leaning over a couch about a month ago and seriously hurt my rib/sternum/whatnot.  There is like a huge knot and it hurts.  Could I have broken something? If this kills me I would definitely let you all put me in the running for a darwin award.  I mean, who hurts themselves leaning over a couch?

8. Why are people trying to come to my event?? It's sold out! I have a waiting list that you are never going to get off of so please stop sending in RSVPs.

9. Should I take flowers to K's defense? Probably not.  Maybe I'll save that for graduation.

10.  Okay, going to go get through email before heading out.

1. My bro is getting out of the hospital some time this week.  I'm pretty anxious about it.

2. I hate when finances get tight out of the blue.

3. I'm enjoying Whole30 - and moreso - the results I've seen already.  I'm finally feeling like my adoption party weight loss goal is within reach.

4. all of a sudden every weekend in May is super booked. i should be excited for fun plans, but it leaves me wishing for down time.

5. i love my new little dogs. i'm so happy we got them

6. enough of this cold rainy weather. bring back the sunshine!

7. our gardens are in such seriously sad shape. why is there never any time?

8. i'm boring this week.

1. While I love the longer days, the extra sun is foiling my plans for getting my kids to bed early.

2. L finally got IRB approval yesterday. We are sending out the letters to get participants now. WHOOO HOOOO.

3. She is now 2m behind schedule thanks to committee delays. I am trying not to think about that.

4. I am excited for our June GTG and want to start planning - although I have a ton of stuff to do before that.

5. My phone has been ringing off the hook today. What is going on?

6. The kids don't have homework this week because of standardized testing. It was so nice last night not to have to do homework and dinner simultaneously especially since L is out of town. I actually was able to cook a semi-real dinner. Whoo hoo.

7. I miss the warm weather. It was 39 when we left the house this morning. Dislike.

8.  my phone won't stop ringing. perhaps I will come back with 9 and 10.

1. I'm so proud of myself!  I've been crazy motivated the last two days and cleaned almost our entire house!  

2. Today I'm working on our mountain of laundry - my least favorite household task.

3. For dinner last night we made amazing turkey burgers with peppers, onions and a whole bunch of spices in the meat. They were delish!  I even had leftovers for lunch, yum!

4. The fur kids are being really good today, yay!  This is probably making up for them both being so bad yesterday...  Barking, nocking things over, getting into things - I was not happy with them.

5. J is going to her parents house early tomorrow morning. Her mom has another round of nerve blockers tomorrow morning.

6. I love that she's always there for her mom, but we live an hour away. Her father and twin brothers live with her mom but never take her. Instead the responsibility always falls on J and that makes me angry.

7. I just found out that my foster parents are getting a divorce. I'm kinda bummin and still don't know what they're going to do with custody of the kids and their house.

8. I'm freezing!  I just can't seem to warm up!  Warm weather, please come back!

9. I think it's going to be a frozen pizza night tonight...  

10. I really should get back to laundry...  Boo.

1. CT, I hope your brother's discharge goes as well as can be hoped for. Thinking of you.

2. mandykatie, crossing all crossable parts for you guys.

3. The BBT thermometer didn't store C's temp this morning, but she kinda remembered it.  I hope she's right!

4. I'm not sure how our timing was this cycle.  We inseminated on CD 14 and 15, and it looks like C ovulated on CD 17 or 18.  Not much choice on that lag, since our donor was at a wedding over the weekend.  But that's semi-correct timing for fresh sperm.

5. In the midst of what is supposed to be a joyous time, we are having a difficult time in our marriage.  The problem is almost entirely me, and I feel a little lost on how to fix things.

6. I guess it's time to find a therapist in Chicago.  I've found a few promising leads.

7. I got a job!  I forget if I mentioned it, but it's official, I've accepted, and I start May 7th.

8. Hopefully this takes some of the pressure off me so I can relax and stop being irritable and snappy, which is what the big problem is in our relationship right now.

9. C's mom put BOTH of us on the email inviting us to C's grandma's 80th birthday party.  This means a TON to me, because her family has been really slow to warm up to me and welcome me into the family.

10. I'm addicted to Solitaire Blitz on Facebook.  So much productivity sucked out of the universe via flash games.

1. I noticed that the heating element in our dryer wasn't working yesterday so I didn't get any laundry done.  I need to wash diapers today, thank goodness the repair guy is able to come out this afternoon.

2. I haven't gotten Apple onto a schedule, she kind of has a routine but I think it's time to be a little more on top of getting naps/meals/bath at the same time every day so she *might* start sleeping through the night.

3. The last few nights have been bad, Apple hasn't slept well and has fussed pretty much all night.

7. I need to take Monster's ticker off of here, he went to family yesterday.  It was such a relief, especially because the woman he went with was very kind.

8. I think I'm going to tell the girls mom that we are being considered for the adoptive family.

I thought we were building our family fast...  The Dads that we are backup sitters for domestically adopted their first son in December 2010, were just matched/placed with their second son at the beginning of this month, were matched with their third son yesterday, and are inquiring about a fourth boy today.  Phew!

10. We are looking at Heart Galleries in every state to find our son thanks to those Dads.

1) Ky's fever finally broke last night! I woke up to a sweaty but fever free munchkin!

2) She is still super clingy and over dramatic BUT at least she is on the mend.

3) I am going to pay someone to mow my yard today.

4) I have not cleaned Ky's playroom in like a month...it is way overdue.

5) Naptime is so peaceful during the week. On the weekend I have a mile long list of things to do but not during the week!

6) Since I was off half a day yesterday and all day today my laundry is finally caught up!

7) The group that ran the big moms' sale I went to sent me a newsletter and I was excited to meet up with some moms in our area, however ALL of the events are planned during the day during the week. Where are the working mommas activities???

8) Ann either did not O this cycle or we missed it since we are CD 24 and still -opk.

9) We found the cutest cupcake wrappers at a baker's specialty store and let Ky pick between Elmo and Hello Kitty, her two favorites. She picked the Hello Kitty and they are red, white, and blue. How appropriate is that for a July birthday?

10) On the kid's shows this morning there was a birthday theme and it made me want to make some cake...

1. Things have been rough lately, but I'm hoping that this weekend was a turning point.

2. Yesterday was a lovely day. I co-taught a return to work and bfing class, then had lunch with my lc mentor and then C and I went kayaking (pic on fb) and out to happy hour and gelato/sorbet.

3. Today I'm working 8am-1pm, 2pm-7pm and 11pm-7am. Three cute babies!

4. Tomorrow I'm "off" so I'm going to work on my website update.

5. I have to use the bathroom, but I have a baby sleeping on me.

6. I love my new kindle fire.

7. Major travel/events/plans coming up and I'm not sure how it will all turn out, but hoping it will all be great.

8. I'm trying to stay in the moment.

9. I just scheduled three appointments, one for the vet (dog check-up), one for car maintenance appointment and one to my car detailed (with a group.on). The last is the best, since it needs it. I drive to clients a lot and accidentally left the door cracked open during some rain and the seats should be shampooed.

10. I'm curious about CT's name spelling change.

1. Working from home today (is that how I start all of these?!)...wish it were warmer so I could have eaten lunch outside.

2. I was super productive this morning, but now I'm starting to peter out.

3. I can't wait for the summer. Work slows down a lot, and I'm so ready for that extra breathing room/thinking time. 

4. I'm not a huge fan of pork chops, but Trav bought some that he wanted for dinner sometime this week. I found a recipe that's making me pretty excited to cook them tonight though. 

5. I want to make big changes in my life but have no idea where to start.

6. Travelers... I'm periodically checking on flight prices for my trip to Vegas in October, but when is a good time to buy? 

7. I was working while eating lunch and ended up eating too much... I'm still all full and tummy achy. 

8. Gwen has let me put her hair up in pigtails two days in a row... love it!! 

9. Maybe I'll bake some muffins to bake while I cook the pork chops. Mmm, muffins. 

10. I can't wait for the Philly GTG and our Cape Cod trip this summer.

1. I'm a crank ball today.

2. K is driving me booooonkeeeeeeeeers! She added all of these things to the work on the house without asking the contractor how much they would cost. Well, I got a bill today, and I'm not happy.

3. That's K, though - the absent-minded professor in all her glory. I need to remind myself that I found this endearing when we first met!

4. A little financial flexibility wouldn't hurt. I love my career choice, and I know she loves hers, but do I wish we were in higher paying fields? HECK YEAH.

5. I want to be home with J now. I miss him. I worked a super long day yesterday, and he was in bed by the time I got home. I hate those days, and I have three this week.

6. I need to make more progress on his room. Seriously. It needs to get done.

7. We're moving in two weeks!

9. I guess we need to get serious about packing.

10. I think I'll give away about 1/2 of my clothes.

1. I am not having a good week.

2. I got stuck 3 times at the lab this morning just for one stupid little vial of blood.

3. I'm feeling very discouraged.

4. I'm also having some serious body issues. me+body issues=BAD.

5. I have been on the verge of tears all day today. I do not like today. I want to go home and go to bed.

6. I've been in a rut and was inspired by some of my friends, so I dug my old SLR camera out of the basement and bought some film. we'll see how they turn out, I haven't shot a roll in years.

7. I have been totally overwhelmed at work.

8. I can't wait for our kitchen remodel to be done. it's going to be so nice, but right now all it's doing is stressing me out.

9. I need a day just for me, or at least a few hours.

10. I'm going to go home now.

1. CT...thinking of you and your brother and hoping things go ok today and in the days/weeks to come.

2. Has anyone heard from Leap since Friday...just wondering if those babies are still cooking!

4. I hope I can pull off getting all the last minute packing done by myself over the next few days.

5. Last night E had 4 pages of homework. Really? Doesn't her teacher know we have more important things to do this week?

6. Tonight my brother is going to help me pick up a dining table and chairs we bought off craigs.list. It is dan.ia and super cool and I love it. K and I both spotted it when we were looking separately!

7. I'm hoping my parents will be able to stay for brunch this Sunday so they can finally meet K.

8. I had housecleaners come to the house this morning with a group.on deal I got since the previous owners didn't clean when they left. I hope it looks awesome!

9. Vacation in 10 days...CAN NOT WAIT.

10. K is busy putting together outfits for theme nights (it's an o.livia trip) and she found an inexpensive gangster style suit at a costume store for me to wear to accompany her flapper dress...I cannot wait to see what it looks like, ha!

1. No babies yet! Just bad about getting on the computer. 

2. Our car seats were very easy to install. We went to the children's hospital and had them checked just in case - it's free or you can give a donation so they can help other families buy safe car seats. They were fine, but our backseat (Honda Fit!) is pretty full now :-D

3. Our CSA is all greens right now, which is to be expected, but it means I really need to get out my cookbooks and find some go-to chard, kale, etc. recipes. I have some picked out to try this week. 

4. I bought an old silverware chest for $14 at an antique store and filled it with small square boxes to make a jewelry box. Thrifty and cute!

5. I got an airtight dog food container to use as a diaper pail for the newborn disposables. I'm curious to see how it works out. 

6. I'm so ready to meet my babies.

7. I'm also trying to savor every last minute of non-parenting time.

8. Our lawn grows seriously fast. I mowed the back on Sunday and there are already tall patches.

9. I need to have my mom or dad come over and help me move one of the cribs into our bedroom. But first I have to figure out how our bed, two dressers and a crib are all going to fit in one (smallish) room. Maybe I should move our dressers into the nursery for now.  

10. Knowing that the biggest day of your life is happening SOMETIME in the next 1-4 weeks but having no idea what day? Blowing my mind. Blowing it, I tell you.

1.  Yea.. so it's Friday..

2.  I feel so out of touch with this board.  I don't recognize so many of the posters.

3.  We have a showing (of our home) tomorrow and an open house Sunday.  While we've had interest, we haven't gotten anything to get too excited about but we have found a house we want.  So we dropped 10 grand yesterday and are hopeful this weekend is it.

4.  Plus I am tired of restacking my tupperwear for every showing.  WHY is it always unstacked??   

5.  The house we found is on the Cape.  And it is beautiful.  It has all of our must have's and all of our desire's, including an inground pool, finished room over the garage and finished basement (with bar).   

6. I keep trying to convince myself it isn't perfect, in case it goes pending while we are still waiting..

7.  N slept 7 whole hours last night!!! His record was 5, back in December.  In the last few weeks, he has slowly inched back up to 4 (from 1.5.. all.night.long).  7 is..amazing!! But he has already woken up 3 times tonight so I think it was a one night showing.

8.  I wonder when our house will sell... it's only been on the market 3 weeks but feels like an eternity.

9.  K only has 29 more days until summer vacation.  I can't wait.  

10.  I never imagined having a child would be so powerful.  At least 3 times a day I sit back, with tears in my eyes, watching him, totally overwhelmed by how much I love him. He is so fun, so beautiful.  He brings such light and happiness into (almost) every moment in the day.  We tried to get pregnant for so long... I knew we were trying for 'a baby' but I had no idea that it would be like this.  When his eyes find mine or he wraps his arm around my neck and falls asleep, I feel like the most important person in the world.  It is so, so, so overwhelming.
