Which toys keep him/her occupied best?  Sometimes we just chat/sing the whole car ride, but sometimes she is grumpy or I just need a mental break.  DD has been playing with one of those echo microphone things (something like $2 at Target) and it has kept her so entertained lately.

We have a 45 minute ride to school/work. She grabs various stuffed animals and talks and sings to them. A book also keeps her entertained. She also likes to bring her purse and take everything out and put on her sunglasses like Mama.

My Own Leaptop, I think that's what it's called. Between that and Violet, she's pretty entertained for the 45 min ride. She does have her days though when nothing will entertain her!

our commute is about 30 minutes in the morning, 45-60 minutes in the afternoon. it's MUCH BETTER than it was a year ago but there are some not so great moments on ocassion. we do a lot of singing and talking to pass the time. snacks like animal crackers pass time, too...

We recently bought the iPad holder for the headrest, so now she can watch her shows, play her games, things like that. I can also rent movies for her (3.99 on itunes), it has truly been amazing. I just did a road trip (10 hours) with her and she did not whine, fuss once. Best thing ever!
