Do you let your baby eat stuff cooked with soy/teriyaki sauce? My pedi (and BWL) said just to give her what we're eating as long as I don't cook with added salt, but some sauces that I cook with, especially those, have tons of sodium in them. I'd assume that the same rule applies to them and leave them out, but our diet is so limited already since we keep kosher and DH is lactose intolerant (and works from home, so he's here for lunch too). I don't want to be a crazy label reader and leave out anything with salt; after all, bread and cheese have salt in them and she's allowed to have those. WWYD?

2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
We use the reduced sodium versions on a normal basis and DS has had them.
When you're cooking, pull out a portion for your daughter before you add the sauce. Especially easy if you're making stir-fry... you have to cook the veggies and meats before you add the sauce so it doesn't get soggy.

I let her sometimes have some, sometimes not and like a pp will just set some aside.
I just use my best judgement based on how well she's eaten the rest of the day basically. If I feel like she's had salt/sugar/whatever at one meal I won't let her have it at a another. If she ate something really healthy at an earlier (plain veggies) I'll just give it to her.
For me it's about all day balance rather than reading labels like a crazy lady and worrying about food at every meal.
Don't know why I didn't think of this...thanks!
