Well guys here is my quick story. I started having contractions at 5:30 this morning and we got to the hospital at 8. I had been at a 2, but was a 4 when we got there. The contractions were flipping intense! I had never felt them before and I just have to say that you med free mamas are champs. I don't know how you do it. I got my epidural at around 10:30 and the relief was amazing. It allowed me to nap for a couple of hours. My doctor came in around 1:30 and broke my water. At that point I was between a 6 and 7. He guessed I'd have him around 4:30, but boy was he wrong. I started getting some crazy pressure and knew that I was transitioning. The nurse checked around 2:30 and I was a 9. I was still at a -2 station. When I got to a 10 they wouldn't let me push because he was still at a -2 station. After about 30 minutes my body was just pushing him on it's own and when she checked me at 3 she could see his head. She kept telling me not to push, but my body was doing it. My doctor barely made it and the nurses were not interested in delivering him at all. It was really annoying. After about 3 pushes he was out.
Owen Christopher weighed in at 10 pounds 8.5 ounces, measured 21 inches long and was born at 3:12 pm! I have a 2nd degree tear and somehow he was an easier delivery than my little 8 pound 6 ounce baby girl. He has a broken right clavicle, but other than that he is perfect. Can't wait to see the rest of the April babies! Thanks for your good thoughts all.
Probably the best picture we have right now.

Welcome Owen! Congratulations!
Looks like he is getting lots of love already
No it isn't that bad thank goodness. They had him in the nursery so I took advantage of the alone time

I'm glad I have some good company in the big baby club. He is really wonderful and looks so much like Hazel did. They even have the same cry.
I was surprised too. I wasn't expecting things to move that fast. He was just in a hurry once he finally got going.
