I had my second IUI today. I have alot more cramping this time. It seemed the Dr. had a hard time getting it in right. I'm not sure if that has something to do with it. Has anyone experienced serious cramps? They say no restrictions and you can go back to work. Last time I did with not problems. However, this time I just couldn't do it. Had to go lay down.

This post is probably better suited to the IF board but to answer your question, I had excruciatingly painful cramps after my 6th IUI. If I had had it on a work day, I wouldn't have been able to go in...I was in tears they were so painful.
My RE chalked it up to me having ovulated 4 follicles that cycle but the RE who did the IUI (not my RE) was "rough" and I could feel her hitting the top of my uterus with the catheter.
Me: 32 - Stage II Endo / DH: 36 - Low count and morphology (1%)
IUIs 1-3 BFN, lap Dec. 2010, IUIs 4-6 BFN
IVF w/ICSI #1 - ER 2/8: 24R 19M 9F ET 2/13 2-5 day blasts (no frosties) = BFP - b/g twins!

Sorry, I was just trying to get some support from others who have gone through this. I didn't realize there were strict rules on what to post. I've been doing fertility treatments for three years now. First time I reached out and wanted experienced people to talk to therefore I chose Infertility veterans. I won't post here again.
