Wow is it really Monday already?

This check-in is for mommies who lost a baby due in the month of August (any year), and any late loss mommies who gave birth and lost their precious angel in August. 

 

New to the check in: Welcome.  I?m so sorry you find yourself here but hope you find the love and support you need from the amazing women on TTCAL.  Tell us a bit about yourself, where you are in the TTCAL process, and don?t forget to include your August EDD or birth date.

For everyone: How are you lovely ladies doing this week?  Where are you in the TTCAL process this week? crystal8503: Got a BFP on April 5^th! EDD 12/16/12!

 

jobalchak- Was going to wait until AF showed up to test, but tested early and got a BFP! EDD?

 

Big_Noise: AF arrived on Friday, giving a 12 day LP.  Struggling with weight gain and concerned that something is not ok.  Please keep us posted, I hope everything is ok!  But, maybe it?ll just be a simple thyroid problem?

 

Kpsbabyzoe: At the end of taking Provera, and no sign of AF yet.

 

ncchnat- Still haven?t O?d, and anticipating this will be a longer cycle. 

 

EKGibs- AF showed up on CD29.  On CD5 at day of check-in and started clomid.  Just started charting.

 

shellyco- Still waiting, LP has been longer, currently at 12DPO.  Started testing at 10DPO and BFNs so far.

 

csspencer- Officially in the 2ww, with a test day of 4/28 which would be 15dpo.  Not testing until at least 11dpo.

 

funnybunny: At CD31, but can?t POAS because betas still high from previous m/c.  Waiting on beta test to figure out what?s going on.

hrgunasekera1: CD33, but got a BFN over the weekend.  Cycles typically range from 37-58days, so just waiting for AF to show up.

 

mama2j: Currently TTA, trying to decide if ready to start TTC again.

 

LemonBlush: CD28, and didn?t chart this cycle but got a BFN on the day of check-in.  If this cycle isn?t successful, plans on charting again.

 

thetur: CD5 on the day of check-in, O day seems to be changing so missed fertile window last cycle.  Thinking of trying OPKs.

I am super low today.  Today is CD2, so I'm totally exhausted.  Part of my exhaustion is because I just finished a show, partially it's because of AF, and another big part I'm sure is hormones from the Provera.  I'm seriously needing to see my counselor this week.  I think we're still going to wait another cycle before TTC again, we want to see if my body can do a full cycle on its own without medication.  Also- for charting purposes I feel like I need to get used to my body again.  I'm sure my cycle will be slightly different now that I've actually restarted.

QOTW: My show Macbeth ended, and at the end of the final bows the actor who was playing Macduff, proposed to his girlfriend who was playing Lady Macbeth.  It was beautiful, and full of Shakespeare quotes and everyone cried.  I'm just getting to know them really well, and have hung out a few times, so it was really fun to be a part of that start of their lives together!

Wow, 2 BFPs this week - congrats ladies!

I'm all kinds of mixed up in terms of my updates. No significant weight loss but I was super good last week and a few of the extra lbs came off so we'll see how it goes from here on out. I need to drop 5-7 lbs which doesn't seem like a lot to some people, but I'm a few lbs above my WW goal weight, so I need to get back under that so I can go to meetings and stuff and not have to pay.

Ok, the real update - yeah, now I've been spotting since last night. I'm on CD11 today. AF was around for 7 days, with spotting on day 7. I had mid-cycle spotting last month too (after CP). Was hoping it was a fluke due to the CP but now not so much. So, I called the OB's office today and she wants me to come in later this cycle for a blood draw and office visit. Sigh. I know it's good that we could be getting closer to some answers/a plan but I was really hoping by body was going to regulate itself. This weekend I was feeling pretty good about it b/c my temps have really settled down...and now I have lovely, nasty spotting. It's also no where near O. I O late. I had the spotting around CD13 last month and O'd on CD22. Not expecting to O for at LEAST another week. OB also wants me to do opks too so I'll give them a try, but I haven't had a lot of success with them in the past b/c I can't hold it very long...I drink a lot of water!

So yeah, not feeling real hopeful we'll be back on the TTC bandwagon right away but we'll see.

QOTW: Got to go out to dinner with DD, DH and another couple friend last night. It was an irish bar/restaurant and there was a band playing and DD (19 months) was so enthralled watching the band play...she kept climbing up on me and DH to see over the high booth. It was adorable.

Having a rough time lately. It seems like so many new people that I know are popping up pregnant and due in August. It just is always a sad reminder. I'm starting to dread August, which sucks because its always been a great month for me. My birthday and my anniversary are both in August, and this year I should also be celebrating a new baby. I want to plan a trip for that month to give me something to look forward to rather than dread...we'll see.

I love that quote, I've never heard it before, but I'm going to add it to my list of favorites!

Despite my funk, this was a great weekend. We had beautiful weather, I went to charity auction saturday night which was so fun. Yesterday we got a new patio table and had dinner outside. I'm so ready for summer!!!

Yay for the two BFPs!

Add me to the list of not doing so hot lately.  I got my hopes up too high for a BFP last cycle.  And I know so many women have been trying longer than me and have had such greater struggles than me but it has just really hit me that there will be no baby in 2012 for us.  My new goal is just to be pregnant in 2012.  Preferably a BFP before my EDD. 

QOTW:  It is difficult to think about something good that happened, I had a tough couple of days.  But we spent yesterday evening playing board games with some friends (bonus that they never want kids, so at least there's no baby talk).

I havent checked in before but when I saw one for August I thought I would join in. Hope there is room for one more.  My husband and I were due Aug.2 the day before my husband birthday. We were super excited and surprised when I got the BFP so early on. We were only trying for a month or two and wasnt expecting it so soon.  However Jan. 15 I went for my 11 week appointment and wasnt able to find a heart beat.  I had a D&C the following day.  

 Its now been about 3 months and I have defiantly had some ups and downs. The past week has defiantly been a down. I just feel so out of touch with my body, its so upsetting.  The loss was hard enough but not knowing or understading whats going on with my body is the worst.  Im on CD14 and still have AF visiting.  

I did have something positive this weekend.  My brother got married on Saturday and it was alot of fun. Had a few moments but overall it was a great time.e

Just waiting to test. Today is 10 dpo. I may test tomorrow, I may not. I'm trying my hardest not to get my hopes up.

I had a rough day in church yesterday. We have a baptism. The first since my m/c. I was fine until our Pastor starting walking the baby up the aisle, and our organist played Jesus Loves Me. I had to leave the sanctuary. 

QOTW: DH and I spent a couple hours at the casino near us. It was a nice get away.

Nothing new to report here. Still just waiting for AF or a bfp. Currently on cd40. I go see my dr on Thursday for my yearly exam and it'll be nice to talk to her and just make sure she thinks everything is fine. 

I like that quote. I'll have to remember that.

This weekend we ordered tile for our bathroom. Exciting, right?! It will come it by Friday and I can't wait to get the bathroom done!  We have been renovating our house the last few years and we just got the kitchen done and if we can get the bathroom done our upstairs will be complete!

Update: DH and I talked, and he wanted to wait a bit before adding OPKs to the mix (didn't want it to become something else to stress about).  So we're holding off on that for a few months, and have instead started BD a few days before FF's estimated window.  I'm at CD 12 now, and I think I might have a temp spike tomorrow, but we'll see....

QOTW: I loved having extra time with DH this weekend.  He works full time and goes to school 4 nights a week this semester, and usually his weekends are full of homework.  But this weekend we had lots of great time together (granted, much of it was spent doing yard work...but I'll take 8 extra hours planting grass and weeding *with* him over watching him with his head in the books any day!)

As you can see by the siggy, I got a BFP last week. I am thrilled, nervous, elated and scared all at the same time.

My EDD for now (until a US confirms it) is Dec-21-2012.

yay for the BFP's! I don't really have anything new to report. The most exciting thing I did this weekend was studying for finals hope everybody has a good week!

I have to say, seeing this post was a blessing in disguise for me.  I've only recently returned to The Bump and posted my Intro here last weekend.   My baby's due date was supposed to be August 12, 2012.  I was literally just thinking about peeking at the August 2012 Moms to see how everyone was, but decided that wasn't the best idea right now.

We are trying to conceive again, but my body is STILL trying to get back together after my miscarriage on Jan 30.  I wish you all the best, and thank you for introducing me to this group!
