We are team green still trying to find a girl name.

I think we have settled on the name... but I am unsure of the spelling.

I thought the "traditional" spelling was one thing and found out it was another. (I will tell you later which I was thinking.)

I tried to put them in a logical order in the poll so that the slight differences could easily be seen.

Middle name will be Michelle.  TIA!

had my parents thought about it harder, I would have been Brianna, so i'm a little biased.  as it is my MN is Brianne.

I went to school with a Breanna, pronounced Bree-Anna.  Then I know a little girl whose name is Brianna, pronounced Bree-ah-nah.

 We really liked the name Brianna, but we personally decided against it because no one ever pronounces it right haha. Same with my friends who are Caroline and Carolyn.  Their names are always pronounced the opposite way.

I went with Briana because it's simple. I think you should spell it however you'd like, and have it pronounced however you like. No matter how it's spelled, you'll probably get SOMEone mispronouncing it.

I'd say Brianna, but I wouldn't think Briana or Breanna are spelled wrong or differently at all. With any spelling, you'll get bree-anna and bree-awna pronunciations!

Thanks everyone!  We were planning on the pronunciation of Bree-Ana not Bre-Ahna.  

I thought the "proper" spelling was Breanna but found out it is Brianna.  I didn't really think about people pronouncing it incorrectly because I thought it was a pretty standard name.

My first name is Kaylin and I have gone through life being called Kaitlin (there is NO "t" people!) so I kinda thought Breanna would be more of a common name.  Guess not! lol

I voted for Briana. IMO, the double "n" is unnecessary and I prefer the i to the e.

To get the pronunciation you want the "correct" spelling is Brianna. One 'n' equals the "Awn-a" pronunciation, and it's Bri because it's the feminine of Brian. Pretty name!
