Toddlers: 24 Months+

Want a good laugh?

Check out Restoration Hardware's Baby &Child room gallery. Obviously the designers don't have children, or have never been around children. There are big massive mirrors, picture frames, or curtains hanging over the cribs, the playrooms are decorated with leather sofas, all white furniture, and devoid of any color. I will admit the bathrooms are really cute, but the rest of the rooms are just impractical

Re: Want a good laugh?

  • What's with the chandaliers hanging over the cribs?
  • Loading the player...
  • The white and pastel probably only looks that nice before the baby becomes a toddler.   It's a little too fancy for my taste.

  • I can't even begin to justify spending that kind of money on a crib. The designers forgot to include a spot for toys or playing. That is funny.

  • I liked a few of the designs, but only in theory. They look pretty, but just aren't realistic. I think this is probable what a very rich person would do for their nursery... and it might stay that way, but only because they employ multiple people to keep up that particular appearance.

  • What, this isn't normal?  You don't all have all-white nurseries with low-hanging chandeliers?  Now that DD is 2, when she gets bored, she swings on it.  Keeps her busy which helps justify the cost of the chandelier since it was a bit pricey.  Big Smile
