It was at the top of my list - I felt it met the basic criteria, easy to say, spell, no obvious nicknames, not really popular (ranked 102) but not obscure enough to get the side eye. Good meaning, I liked the Irish background to it, means champion. But according to my husband it sounds like a wussy name so I think it's off the list
I personally know 3 Nolan's, so the name is too popular for my taste. It is a nice name though--I can't think of any celebrities or criminals with the name off the top of my head, so you're good there!
The waste in life lies in the love we have not given, the powers we have not used and the selfish prudence that will risk nothing; and which shirking pain, misses happiness as well.

I lol'd because my husband and I joked about this name - ONLY because it rhymes with our last name, so it's out lol
