I don't know why I am having such a hard time finding something for our little one to wear home. 

With DS we had a couple of newborn onsies to pick to use but he was swimming in all of them.  We ended up not using any of them until later. . . don't know why I am stressing about it this time.  Definitely overthinking it.

Do you have the smallest "onesie" or sleeper or something from #1. That's what I'm packing for #2. We had a couple Newborn size things. A newborn size sleeper and comfy sweatsuit (depending on weather)

With matching booties and I made handknit bonnet.  It is from Janie & Jack.  Not cheap, but I wanted something special.

No clue!  I brought a few cute things to the hospital with me for DS, but it's literally a 20 minute car ride from the hospital to my house.  Don't over think it.  When you pack your bag, pick a few favourites of the onsies you have, and go from there.

This was DD's coming home outfit, which was promptly stained by poly-vi-sol within minutes of being home :P

Have a back up too.  We were leaving the hospital and when putting my daughter in her car seat she had peed all the way up her back!  I was so bummed.

Honestly, I don't see the big deal in coming home outfits.  When we leave the hospital we will be driving 15 minutes to our home.  I am just going to pick something cute from his closet but nothing fancy.  Its FL and it is going to be HOT.  So probably a basic onesie or sleeper.

Basic, cute, comfy and cheap. If she throws up on it- NBD.
