I just started to CD again and have been using up my sposies during the night time because I know they worked. Well they are no longer working. I had to change her twice before 1 am tonight because the last two nights her outfit was soaked when she woke up to nurse. I guess this is a good time for sposies to stop working since we have more CDs in the house now but still frustrating because I am nervous, for some reason, to CD her at night since we are starting back into them slowly.
I know this has been posted probably a thousand times but I didn't see any posted recently about tummy sleepers, and if there was and I missed it I am sorry.
She is a tummy sleeper and she does wake up to nurse but gets super upset if we try and change her so I try not to.
TIA

Re: Best night time solution for a tummy sleeper?
My little girl is a tummy sleeper that wakes up to nurse at least twice at night. Unfortunately I have not come across anything that is 100% leakproof. I think its because she eats so much. On those rare nights that she doesn't eat as much, she doesn't leak. If she's eating a lot, then she might leak once or twice a week.
- I've tried BG 4.0s stuffed with two hemp 6R inserts and a microfiber insert (so 3 total). This works most of the time but its not 100%. Also, sometimes she just gets in a position (probably with her bottom in the air) where she can pee straight out of it.
- I've tried an applecheeks stuffed with a hemp prefold and whatever else I could squeeze in there (maybe a flat). I also like this option, but again, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
-And I've tried sbish fitteds and some nice hybrid fitteds with wool. Sometimes the wool is sad and leaking in the morning, sometimes it isn't.
I'm basically trying to work her down to 1 feeding a night. If that happens I think we'll have a lot more options. In the meantime, I try to mitigate damages by only letting her sleep in t-shirts and diapers (easier to change than a soaked footed sleeper) and keeping small waterproof pads on hand .
