C-sections

30 day shred

I'm dying to work out but I'm holding off until 6 weeks for doc clearance.  I want to start the 30 day shred but worry it might be too much post c-section.  Any other c-section mommas start it?  If so, how long did you wait to start it and how did you feel?

  • After my last c/s I wasn't able to do it until about 7 or 8 wks. pp, and even then, doing the easiest version of the moves, sometimes I still had to sit down and skip some of them.  If I remember correctly, it was a lot of up and down off the floor, which I struggled with at first.  It is a very good workout and over time I was able to do all of the moves.

  • I have not done the 30 day shred, but once the 6 week PP visit is done and you are healing well you can do anything as long as you start slowly and listen to your body. Don't push yourself and stop if it is too much.

  • I started the 30DS about 2.5 weeks ago. I got the all clear to work out at six weeks but I was feeling a little lazy and tired and then when I felt good enough to work out I just couldnt find the time.
    I honestly feel great doing it. I never did the 30 DS prior to this so I didnt really know what to expect.
