She has figured out I can't really do a whole lot when I'm nursing DS (luckily he doesn't nurse long, but long enough!) In the last couple weeks she has learned to climb our pub height kitchen chairs, started banging on the TV, emptied the entertainment center a few times and one day I found her trying to flush an entire roll of toilet paper when DH forgot to close the bathroom door. Today she was licking the TV, I wish I was kidding. She would lick and yell "hot!" then do it again. It's always so much fun to get up off the couch while trying to keep DS latched and grab her with the other hand. Clearly my time was wasted making her a nursing box, she has no interest in it at all!
Re: DD is testing her limits
What's a nursing box?
And was Channing Tatum on TV or something? In that case, I could see the licking and the exclamation of "hot!"...
Sorry, had to
Be afraid. Very afraid. Enjoy your last few days of peace, well it will seem like pea e when you look back.
If I could enjoy anything then I sure would lol
DD spent this week with her father but last weekend was pretty rough and she comes back tonight. She is trying everything she can to make herself the center of attention since she was the only child here and now she's lost that title. It's incredibly frustrating.
DD1- 12/26/05 DD2- 4/12/12
A box full of little games and toys that she had never seen before. In theory the newness of the toys and the fact they only get them during nursing is supposed to keep them occupied. I seriously stressed over what to put in there and it was all for naught. Even her precious Bubble Guppies are losing their entertainment value *sigh*
And the Channing Tatum comment cracked me up lol.
I've started gating her in the living room, but that's where the TV/entertainment center issues occur. I'm thinking we might have to move to the nursery like someone suggested. Either that or lock the drawers of the entertainment system so she can't crawl in them, that's the most dangerous part!
