DS (3.5) has been PT since the fall (other than overnights, he'd still waking up soaked in the morning in his pull up). He's never really had accidents. Over the past couple of weeks, he's having one or two a week (pee), but never at daycare, always at home. And I really wouldn't call them accidents either. Not that he's peeing his pants on purpose, but he does know when he has to go (and goes to the potty by himself every time for both pee and poop) and sometimes lately just chooses to continue playing or doing whatever he is doing rather than take the time to go and then tell us he peed in his pants.
I'm not sure how to handle this. While I don't believe in timeouts for PTing, since he's already PTed, and these aren't what I'd consider "accidents" (like he didn't realize he had to go, didn't make it to the potty in time, etc.), I'm not sure if they'd be appropriate in this situation. Or, should I just put new clothes on him, remind him that we pee on the potty, and that's it?
