How to tell family?

My husband, DD, and I are telling our families this weekend/Monday that we are expecting #2. We wanted to wait a couple more weeks after I run in a half- marathon, but my brother is going to be out of town and I want to tell everyone together. I am trying to decide between two ideas:

 1. Have my DD say, "I am going to be a big sister." She is 20 months old so we will have to say every word and she will repeat.

 2. We bought DD a "I am a big sister" book, and I thought about giving it to DD and tell her to take it to Grandma to read to her. The only reason I thought about this is because with DD we wrapped up a baby doll with a note that said "Sometimes dreams do come true" and gave it to my dad. He had had a dream that at Christmas there was a baby doll under the tree that said he was going to have to wait so many months for the real thing.   I think my mom was a little upset because my dad found out first. She was clueless as to what was happening because my dad was busy crying and hugging me.

Any suggestions? I am torn on which idea to go with.

I love the second idea! and P.S. Picturing your dad crying and hugging you is making me tear up! Silly hormones.

Definately the shirt idea! Soo cute. I am soo excited to tell our family, only 1.5 weeks to wait to tell them. We are going to give them mothers day cards (early of course) with Happy Mothers day Grandma, and see if they get it.
