The good and the bad

DS has now figured out the music function on the laptop, unfortunately he claims he can only do it when it's on my lap.

Speaking of my lap, DS is finally done with his strike from getting on my lap. Bad news is he hops back on it to play "Mommy Motorcycle" and my pregnant belly means he's "riding" on my knees. 

We started PTing on Monday and, although he didn't pee or poop in the potty, he was awesome at at sitting on his little seat and giving it a try. Bad news is he hasn't gotten back on the toilet since then... at all.

Ooooh.. good luck with the PT.  

We have the seat on the toilet and he says he wants to "tinkle on the potty."  But when he hops up there, he sits still for literally 1/2 second and hops right back off.  No books will keep him there, yet.

Either that, or he'll hop off and pee on the floor.

I don't think we're ready yet!

With my son I put a small bowl of m&m's on the back of the toilet so he could see them as he stood there with the knowledge that once he pee'd he would get some candy.. It honestly didn't take long for him to be potty trained and once he got the peeing part down the poo part came right with it thank God.. My biggest issue was bed wetting, but as soon as I stopped relying on pull ups (around 4) and made him sleep in big boy undies he stopped wetting..

I often end up being a "Mama Horsey" instead of a motorcycle... but at least I'm not pregnant and can (usually) handle the bouncing.  As for potty training... my little guy will probably be 3 before it happens since he flat out refuses to sit on his potty unless he's fully dressed.

GL with PT, all the boys and about 1/2 the girls at my son's daycare weren't diaper free until 3.5.  I am not looking forward to the second round of PT.  In the words of Dr. Phil you need to find his currency for my oldest it was die cast cars.
