Boo! I love Daphne. I think in the Scooby Doo live action movies made about 10 years ago, the character of Daphne was portrayed to be a bit ditsy. For some, maybe there is a thin line between ditsy and stripper.
I dont like Daphne at all. But I've never thought it was a stripper name! Maybe he met one, once? hahah jk
Haha! It is tradition in his group to go to the strip club for bachelor parties. Maybe there is one stripper out there that ruined the name for me. How dare she!
I hope not - it's my daughter's name! I think its a beautiful, classic Greek name. I have never, ever thought of Daphne as a stripper name. BTW, all we've heard is how much people love her name. Of course they could be lying, but I don't think they are.
I don't care for the name, but ig doesn't make me think stripper
The waste in life lies in the love we have not given, the powers we have not used and the selfish prudence that will risk nothing; and which shirking pain, misses happiness as well.

Definitely not a stripper name. I think it sounds refined and elegant. Three Daphnes I've ever heard, Daphne from mythology (she was a nymph who refused the advances of a god and was transformed into a tree to escape him), Daphne from Scooby-Doo, and Daphne from Frazier(Frazier's Father's home care therapy person from England)

NOT a stripper name. If he says that often it may just be a good excuse to keep you from liking names he doesn't. LOL
I have a 4yr old neighbor named Daphne, nn Daffy
